You’re essential to our success.

Volunteers have always been an important part of Career Connections. Whether its assisting with day-to-day tasks in the office, participating in fun activities at Avis’s Place, or helping out with one of our events, volunteers are integral to the success of our programs. We don’t ask you to make any specific commitment of your time; volunteering is an opportunity for you to help improve the quality of life for others, as well as yourself.

If you’re interested in volunteering with Career Connections, you can start the process by contacting our office, or by completing our Volunteer Sign-up Form.

Completing and submitting the form does not guarantee a volunteer assignment. A representative from Career Connections will contact you to discuss your application. All volunteers applications are subject to a Criminal Record Check by the Brandon Police Service or your local RCMP detachment, and an Adult Abuse Registry Check by your local RCMP detachment. Upon approval of your application, available volunteer opportunities will be discussed.

On occasion, photographs of volunteers may also be taken for use in promotional materials. Your personal information is protected and will not be used or disclosed to third parties unless permitted by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
